An integral part of the County Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, CPD coordinates with Public Health Nursing on in-home investigations to determine the source of lead poisoning for children with harmful levels of lead in their blood CPD also provides outreach and guidance to the public on lead hazard reduction and related issues.
