Disease Prevention and Control Program

The Disease Prevention and Control Program is responsible for the surveillance and reporting of 83 different reportable diseases and conditions, for case investigation, for the planning and prevention programs, for public health laboratory support, and for addressing any circumstances or issues related to communicable disease and the public health. Our focus is on agents that cause human disease.
